Alaska High School Basketball - Ketchikan fells Klawock
February 18, 2023: Klawock, AK 99925 Ketchikan Kings (Ketchikan, AK) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Klawock Chieftains (Klawock, AK), 46-26 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Ketchikan upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Kings travel to Juneau-Douglas (Juneau, AK) to play the Crimson Bears in a 4A Southeast bout on Friday, February 24. The Crimson Bears go into the bout with a record of 13-7. Juneau-Douglas lost 37-36 in their recent league bout against Thunder Mountain (Juneau, AK)
Next up, the Chieftains play the Craig Panthers (Craig, AK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 24. Klawock will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 12-2 record after their 37-36 league loss to Haines (Haines, AK).
