With the win, West Morgan advances its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Helena (Helena, AL) to play the Huskies in a non-league outing on Saturday, February 18. The Huskies go into the outing with a record of 4-3. Helena won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Buckhorn (New Market, AL)
In their next game, the Golden Eagles play the Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, February 23. Athens will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record.
