Angleton Wildcats (Angleton, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host East Central Hornets (San Antonio, TX), 11-10 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Brazoswood for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 21. Angleton will battle a Buccaneers squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Bridgeland (Cypress, TX). The Buccaneers record now stands at 4-0.
