Texas High School Softball - Community holds off Blue Ridge
February 18, 2023: Nevada, TX 75173 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Community Braves (Nevada, TX) and the visiting Blue Ridge Tigers (Blue Ridge, TX), saw Community's softball squad nip Blue Ridge by a count of 2-0.
The Braves now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Greenville for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 21. Community will face a Lions squad coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Bland (Merit, TX). The Lions record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Blue Ridge falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Bland (Merit, TX) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Saturday, February 18. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 0-4. Bland lost 11-7 in their recent non-league match against Community (Nevada, TX)
