Texas High School Softball - Holy Cross bounces Brackenridge
February 18, 2023: San Antonio, TX 78228 Holy Cross Knights (San Antonio, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Brackenridge Eagles (San Antonio, TX), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Knights now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hondo for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 23. Holy Cross will face a Owls squad coming off a 15-2 non-league win over Pleasanton (Pleasanton, TX). The Owls record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Brackenridge falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to MacArthur (San Antonio, TX) to face the Brahmas in a 5A Region IV District 27 challenge on Tuesday, February 21. The Brahmas enter the challenge with a record of 3-3. MacArthur lost 11-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Sweeny (Sweeny, TX)
