California High School Softball - El Dorado nudges St. Anthony
February 18, 2023: Placentia, CA 92870 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the El Dorado Golden Hawks (Placentia, CA) and the visiting St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA), saw El Dorado's softball squad nip St. Anthony by a count of 11-10.
The Golden Hawks now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Aliso Niguel for a non-league match on Saturday, February 18. El Dorado will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Woodbridge (Irvine, CA). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, St. Anthony falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Saints host Woodrow Wilson (Long Beach, CA) to face the Bruins in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 21. The Bruins enter the match with a record of 1-4. Woodrow Wilson lost 11-8 in their recent non-league match against Fullerton (Fullerton, CA)
