Texas High School Softball - Wagner can't get by Uvalde
February 18, 2023: Uvalde, TX 78801 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) (Uvalde, TX) softball team held off the visiting Wagner Thunderbirds (San Antonio, TX), by a margin of 3-2.
With the triumph, Uvalde moves its record to 2-4 on the year. The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) travel to Southwest Legacy (Von Ormy, TX) to play the Titans in a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 21. The Titans come into the contest with a record of 0-4. Southwest Legacy lost 13-1 in their recent non-league contest against Taft (San Antonio, TX)
In their next game, the Thunderbirds play the Natalia Mustangs (Natalia, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 18. Wagner will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Ray (Corpus Christi, TX).
