February 18, 2025: Dry Ridge, KY 41035 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Bryan Station Defenders (Lexington, KY) and the host Grant County Braves (Dry Ridge, KY), observed Bryan Station's basketball team knock off Grant County by a score of 91-71.
The Defenders (22-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodford County (Versailles, KY). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league challenge with a 11-11 record. In their last challenge, Woodford County dropped by George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY), 76-67, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Braves encounter the Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 20. Grant County will attempt to improve on its 10-16 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 14-12 record after their 51-50 non-league win over Boone County (Florence, KY).
