Standing Bear Grizzlies (Lincoln, NE) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting York Dukes (York, NE), 62-59 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Standing Bear upgrades its record to 5-14 on the year. The Grizzlies host Plattsmouth (Plattsmouth, NE) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league match on Friday, February 21. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 9-12. Plattsmouth lost 88-54 in their recent non-league match against Wahoo (Wahoo, NE)

The Dukes now sport a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hastings for a B District 7 match on Thursday, February 20. York will face a Tigers squad coming off a 52-43 non-league loss to Waverly (Waverly, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 10-10.
