February 18, 2025: Princeton, IL 61356 Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Sandwich Indians (Sandwich, IL), 50-35 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Princeton upgrades its record to 20-9 on the year. The Tigers host Alleman (Rock Island, IL) to face the Pioneers in a non-league match on Thursday, February 20. The Pioneers enter the match with a record of 23-9. Alleman won 54-26 in their recent non-league match against Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL)
The Indians now sport a 15-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marengo for a Kishwaukee River match on Wednesday, February 19. Sandwich will face a Indians squad coming off a 58-31 non-league loss to Stillman Valley (Stillman Valley, IL). The Indians record now stands at 18-13.
