The More Cavaliers basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Douglas Patriots to 36 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Belle Fourche for a A District 16 contest on Monday, February 23. More will meet a Broncs team coming off a 44-41 non-league loss to Hill City (Hill City, SD). The Broncs record now stands at 6-12.
The Patriots (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD). The enter the AA District 4 contest with a 1-18 record. In their last contest, Sturgis Brown was defeated by Spearfish (Spearfish, SD), 74-53, in a league contest.
