February 19, 2022: Newnan, GA 30263 Newnan Cougars (Newnan, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting North Cobb Warriors (Kennesaw, GA), 7-6 in a non-league test.
With the win, Newnan upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Cougars travel to Cambridge (Milton, GA) to clash with the Bears in a non-league game on Saturday, February 19. The Bears go into the game with a record of 1-1. Cambridge lost 7-0 in their recent non-league game against North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA)
The Warriors (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Woodward Academy (College Park, GA). The War Eagles go into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Woodward Academy tipped Newnan (Newnan, GA), 8-7, in a non-league game.
