Seneca Fighting Irish (Seneca, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL), 70-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Seneca upgrades its record to 22-8 on the season. The Fighting Irish travel to Pontiac (Pontiac, IL) to clash with the Indians in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 23. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 17-13. Pontiac won 71-44 in their recent non-league bout against Coal City (Coal City, IL)
