In Saturday's non-league outing, the The Nueva School Mavericks (San Mateo, CA) basketball squad edged the visiting More Knights (San Jose, CA), by a count of 51-44.

The Mavericks (16-5) will now prepare for their outing against Stevenson (Pebble Beach, CA). The Pirates go into the non-league outing with a 18-6 record. In their last outing, Stevenson held off Pacific Grove (Pacific Grove, CA), 47-33, in a non-league outing.
