February 19, 2022: Dorchester, MA 02121 The Tech Boston Academy/Academy of Public Service Bears (Dorchester, MA) basketball felled the visiting Newburyport Clippers (Newburyport, MA), 75-61 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bears (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Weston (Weston, MA). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 3-16 record. In their last test, Weston was beaten by Wellesley (Wellesley, MA), 78-47, in a non-league test.
The Clippers now own a 14-6 record. They play next when they travel to Winchester for a non-league test on Sunday, February 20. Newburyport will encounter a Sachems squad coming off a 73-59 non-league win over Medford (Medford, MA). The Sachems record now stands at 14-5.
