Georgia High School Soccer - Lowndes overwhelmed by Duluth
February 19, 2022: Duluth, GA 30096 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Duluth Wildcats (Duluth, GA) and the visiting Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA), saw Duluth's soccer squad triumph over Lowndes by a margin of 7-1.
The Wildcats now sport a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Meadowcreek for a AAAAAAA Region 7 test on Tuesday, February 22. Duluth will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Berkmar (Lilburn, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Lowndes drops to 1-3 on the season. The Vikings host Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA) to encounter the Purple Hurricane in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 22. The Purple Hurricane come into the test with a record of 3-2. Fitzgerald won 7-1 in their recent league test against Worth County (Sylvester, GA)
