Texas High School Softball - St. John's bounces Lamar
February 19, 2022: Houston, TX 77019 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the St. John's Mavericks (Houston, TX) and the visiting Lamar Texans (Houston, TX), saw St. John's's softball squad nip Lamar by a count of 6-1.
The Mavericks now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Heights for a non-league match on Thursday, February 24. St. John's will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-3 league win over Westside (Houston, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-1.
With the loss, Lamar falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Texans travel to St. John XXIII (Katy, TX) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Saturday, February 19. The Lions enter the match with a record of 0-0.
