Michigan High School Basketball - Lawton holds off Michigan Lutheran
February 19, 2024: St. Joseph, MI 49085 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Lawton Blue Devils (Lawton, MI) and the host Michigan Lutheran Titans (St. Joseph, MI), saw Lawton's basketball squad hold off Michigan Lutheran by a tally of 49-47.
With the victory, Lawton improves its record to 9-11 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Coloma (Coloma, MI) to confront the Comets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 6-14. Coloma won 53-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Gobles (Gobles, MI)
Next up, the Titans confront the Eau Claire Beavers (Eau Claire, MI) in a Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph - White challenge, on Friday, February 23. Michigan Lutheran will attempt to improve on its 15-6 season record. The Beavers come into the challenge with a 8-12 record after their 74-64 non-league loss to Mendon (Mendon, MI).
