Kentucky High School Basketball - Red Bird overwhelmed by Williamsburg
February 19, 2024: Beverly, KY 40913 The Williamsburg Yellowjackets basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the host Red Bird Cardinals to 48 in the Yellowjackets non-league victory on Monday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 15-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Knoxville Ambassadors for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 20. Williamsburg will battle a Ambassadors team coming off a 82-58 non-league loss to CSTHEA (Chattanooga, TN). The Ambassadors record now stands at 8-14.
The Cardinals (4-15) will now prepare for their contest against Kentucky School for the Deaf (Danville, KY). The Colonels come into the non-league contest with a 0-11 record. In their last contest, Kentucky School for the Deaf was routed by Burgin (Burgin, KY), 71-12, in a non-league contest.
