Missouri High School Basketball - Helias crushes Jefferson City
February 19, 2024: Jefferson City, MO 65109 Helias Crusaders (Jefferson City, MO) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Jefferson City Jays (Jefferson City, MO), 57-31 in a league bout.
With the victory, Helias upgrades its record to 17-10 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Rock Bridge (Columbia, MO) to play the Bruins in a Freelance bout on Thursday, February 22. The Bruins come into the bout with a record of 20-5. Rock Bridge lost 65-62 in their recent non-league bout against Lutheran (St. Peters, MO)
Next up, the Jays play the Hickman Kewpies (Columbia, MO) in a Freelance bout, on Thursday, February 22. Jefferson City will attempt to upgrade on its 10-14 season record. The Kewpies come into the bout with a 18-8 record after their 63-46 non-league loss to Battle (Columbia, MO).
