Vermont High School Basketball - Otter Valley overwhelms Mill River
February 19, 2024: North Clarendon, VT 05759 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Otter Valley Otters (Brandon, VT) and the host Mill River Minutemen (North Clarendon, VT), saw Otter Valley's basketball squad wallop Mill River by a tally of 50-23.
With the victory, Otter Valley improves its record to 2-16 on the campaign. The Otters travel to Vergennes (Vergennes, VT) to confront the Commodores in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Commodores come into the challenge with a record of 9-8. Vergennes lost 50-24 in their recent league challenge against Colchester (Colchester, VT)
Next up, the Minutemen confront the Twin Valley Wildcats (Wilmington, VT) in a Freelance challenge, on Thursday, February 22. Mill River will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 0-18 record after their 38-19 non-league loss to Poultney (Poultney, VT).
