The Newton Rams (Covington, GA) basketball toppled the visiting Paulding County Patriots (Dallas, GA), 59-45 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Rams now possess a 21-5 record. They play next when they travel to Norcross for a non-league bout on Friday, February 21. Newton will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 65-30 non-league win over Denmark (Alpharetta, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 22-5.

With the loss, Paulding County falls to 20-9 on the campaign.
