Florida High School Lacrosse - St. Augustine overwhelms Matanzas
February 19, 2025: Palm Coast, FL 32137 Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the St. Augustine Yellow Jackets (St. Augustine, FL) and the host Matanzas Pirates (Palm Coast, FL), witnessed St. Augustine's lacrosse squad achieve victory over Matanzas by a score of 10-5.
The Yellow Jackets (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Oak Hall (Gainesville, FL). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Oak Hall was overwhelmed by Bishop Moore (Orlando, FL), 8-7, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Pirates meet the Forest Wildcats (Ocala, FL) in a 2A D3 contest, on Friday, February 21. Matanzas will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 0-3 record after their 8-7 league loss to Flagler Palm Coast (Palm Coast, FL).
