February 19, 2025: Newbury Park, CA 91320 The Newbury Park Panthers lacrosse squad scored 8 points and limited the visiting Santa Barbara Dons to 3 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Panthers now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Valencia for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 21. Newbury Park will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 16-4 league win over Castaic (Castaic, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Santa Barbara falls to 0-1 on the year. The Dons travel to Cate (Carpinteria, CA) to clash with the Rams in a Channel challenge on Thursday, February 27. The Rams go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
