The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Oakdale Mustangs (Oakdale, CA) and the visiting El Capitan Gauchos (Merced, CA), observed Oakdale's softball team notch a victory over El Capitan by a tally of 18-0.

The Mustangs (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Gregori (Modesto, CA). The Jaguars go into the non-league bout with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Gauchos battle the Riverbank Bruins (Riverbank, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 22. El Capitan will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Sonora (Sonora, CA).
