In Thursday's non-league game, the host Freeman Golden Eagles baseball team scored a close 3-1 win over the Spring Lions.

The Golden Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City, TX). The Knights go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Fort Bend Elkins by Lamar (Houston, TX), 13-3, in a non-league match.
