The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Heritage Hawks (Newnan, GA) and the host Midtown Knights (Atlanta, GA), saw Heritage's baseball team gain a win over Midtown by a tally of 9-5.

The Hawks (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Piedmont Academy (Monticello, GA). The Cougars enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record.

Next, the Knights confront the Trinity Christian Lions (Sharpsburg, GA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 23. Midtown will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Lions come into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 9-6 non-league win over Union Grove (McDonough, GA).
