Georgia High School Baseball - Lowndes loses to Tift County
February 19, 2026: Tifton, GA 31794 Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA) followers left the game pleased Thursday as they witnessed their baseball team beat the visiting Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA), 11-2 in a non-league game.
The Blue Devils (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Lanier County (Lakeland, GA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Lanier County knocked off Berrien (Nashville, GA), 7-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Vikings play the Chiles Timberwolves (Tallahassee, FL) in a non-league game, on Monday, February 23. Lowndes will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Timberwolves go into the game with a 3-1 record after their 10-4 non-league win over Florida State University High School (Tallahassee, FL).
