The Molina Jaguars triumphed over the host Seagoville Dragons softball squad by a count of 14-4 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Jaguars meet the Newman Smith Trojans (Carrollton, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 20. Molina will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 24-0 non-league loss to Gainesville (Gainesville, TX).
