Minnesota High School Basketball - Hopkins toppled by Columbia Heights
February 2, 2022: Columbia Heights, MN 55421 Columbia Heights Hylanders (Columbia Heights, MN) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Hopkins Royals (Minnetonka, MN), 69-49 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Columbia Heights upgrades its record to 16-0 on the campaign. The Hylanders travel to DeLaSalle (Minneapolis, MN) to play the Islanders in a non-league bout on Friday, February 4. The Islanders come into the bout with a record of 12-4.
Next up, the Royals play the Edina Hornets (Edina, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 4. Hopkins will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 61-54 league loss to Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN).
