The Nashua South Purple Panthers tipped the visiting Merrimack Tomahawks basketball team by a final score of 57-51 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Purple Panthers face the Pinkerton Astros (Derry, NH) in a Division I game, on Friday, February 4. Nashua South will attempt to move on its 9-6 season record. The Astros enter the game with a 17-3 record after their 66-29 league win over Alvirne (Hudson, NH).
