Virginia High School Basketball - Salem winner over Deep Creek
February 2, 2022: Chesapeake, VA 23323 The Salem Sundevils (Virginia Beach, VA) basketball felled the host Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA), 63-43 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Sundevils (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Princess Anne (Virginia Beach, VA). The Cavaliers go into the Beach test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Princess Anne thwarted First Colonial (Virginia Beach, VA), 87-39, in a league test.
The Hornets now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to King's Fork for a Southeastern test on Friday, February 4. Deep Creek will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 70-38 league win over Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-3.
