Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mount Union nips Forbes Road
February 2, 2022: Waterfall, PA 16689 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Mount Union Trojans (Mount Union, PA) and the host Forbes Road (Waterfall, PA), saw Mount Union's basketball squad hold off Forbes Road by a count of 31-25.
With the victory, Mount Union upgrades its record to 3-13 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Juniata Valley (Alexandria, PA) to play the Hornets in a Inter County - North challenge on Monday, February 7. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 11-6. Juniata Valley won 49-19 in their recent league challenge against Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA)
Next up, the play the Shalom Christian Academy Flames (Chambersburg, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 7. Forbes Road will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Flames come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 53-35 non-league win over Carroll Christian (Westminster, MD).
