Minnesota High School Basketball - Stillwater can't hold off Wayzata
February 2, 2022: Stillwater, MN 55082 The Wayzata Trojans basketball team scored 75 points and held the host Stillwater Ponies to 68 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Trojans now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buffalo for a AAAA Section 8 contest on Friday, February 4. Wayzata will battle a Bison team coming off a 67-64 non-league loss to Andover (Andover, MN). The Bison record now stands at 8-11.
The Ponies (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against White Bear Lake (White Bear Lake, MN). The Bears enter the AAAA Section 4 contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, White Bear Lake nudged Forest Lake (Forest Lake, MN), 56-34, in a non-league contest.
