Washington High School Basketball - Jefferson nips Kent-Meridian
February 2, 2022: Kent, WA 98030 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Jefferson Raiders (Auburn, WA) and the host Kent-Meridian Royals (Kent, WA), saw Jefferson's basketball squad hold off Kent-Meridian by a tally of 53-52.
With the victory, Jefferson improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Kentwood (Covington, WA) to play the Conquerors in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 4. The Conquerors come into the challenge with a record of 10-16. Kentwood won 75-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Decatur (Federal Way, WA)
Next up, the Royals play the Decatur Golden Gators (Federal Way, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 3. Kent-Meridian will attempt to improve on its 6-14 season record. The Golden Gators come into the battle with a 4-19 record after their 75-55 non-league loss to Kentwood (Covington, WA).
