February 2, 2022: Wellington, FL 33414 The Wellington Wolverines (Wellington, FL) basketball felled the visiting Santaluces Chiefs (Lantana, FL), 65-47 in Wednesday's league test.
The Wolverines (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Leonard (Greenacres, FL). The Lancers go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Leonard thwarted Somerset Academy Key (Deerfield Beach, FL), 66-51, in a non-league test.
The Chiefs now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to West Boca Raton for a non-league test on Thursday, February 3. Santaluces will encounter a Bulls squad coming off a 51-47 non-league loss to Palm Beach Central (Wellington, FL). The Bulls record now stands at 11-7.
