February 2, 2022: Elberton, GA 30635 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Grovetown Warriors (Grovetown, GA) and the host Elbert County Blue Devils (Elberton, GA), saw Grovetown's soccer squad triumph over Elbert County by a margin of 7-1.
The Warriors now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Greenbrier for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 8. Grovetown will meet a Wolfpack squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Lakeside (Evans, GA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 0-0.
With the loss, Elbert County drops to 0-2 on the season. The Blue devils travel to Madison County (Danielsville, GA) to meet the Red Raiders in a non-league test on Friday, February 4. The Red Raiders come into the test with a record of 0-1. Madison County 3-3 in their recent non-league test against Franklin County (Carnesville, GA)
