Connecticut High School Basketball - Bacon Academy trounces Old Saybrook
February 2, 2023: Colchester, CT 06415 The Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT) basketball crushed the visiting Old Saybrook Rams (Old Saybrook, CT), 59-32 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bobcats (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Killingly (Killingly, CT). The Redmen go into the Eastern Connecticut II test with a 9-5 record. In their last test, Killingly was trounced by Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT), 40-30, in a league test.
The Rams now own a 10-5 record. They play next when they host Westbrook for a Shoreline test on Friday, February 3. Old Saybrook will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 53-51 league loss to Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT). The Knights record now stands at 0-16.
