Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers (Berlin, PA) and the host United Lions (Armagh, PA), saw Berlin Brothersvalley's basketball squad knock off United by a tally of 78-69.

With the victory, Berlin Brothersvalley improves its record to 17-1 on the campaign. The Mountaineers travel to Bishop Canevin (Pittsburgh, PA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 15-3. Bishop Canevin won 70-48 in their recent league challenge against Propel Braddock Hills (Pittsburgh, PA)

Next up, the Lions play the Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays (Johnstown, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 3. United will attempt to improve on its 18-2 season record. The Blue Jays come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 73-59 league loss to North Star (Boswell, PA).
