Florida High School Basketball - East Ridge fells West Port
February 2, 2023: Ocala, FL 34481 East Ridge Knights (Clermont, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host West Port Wolf Pack (Ocala, FL), 72-63 in a non-league bout.
With the win, East Ridge upgrades its record to 7-15 on the season. The Knights travel to South Lake (Groveland, FL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 14-10. South Lake won 43-35 in their recent non-league bout against Mount Dora (Mount Dora, FL)
Next up, the Wolf Pack play the Forest Wildcats (Ocala, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. West Port will attempt to upgrade on its 4-17 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 18-6 record after their 55-43 non-league win over Hawthorne (Hawthorne, FL).
