Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Ephrata nips Wyomissing
February 2, 2023: Wyomissing, PA 19610 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Ephrata Mountaineers (Ephrata, PA) and the host Wyomissing Spartans (Wyomissing, PA), saw Ephrata's basketball squad hold off Wyomissing by a count of 65-60.
With the victory, Ephrata upgrades its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Mountaineers travel to Conestoga Valley (Lancaster, PA) to play the Buckskins in a Lancaster-Lebanon 2 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Buckskins come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. Conestoga Valley lost 71-44 in their recent league challenge against Warwick (Lititz, PA)
Next up, the Spartans play the Berks Catholic Saints (Reading, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Wyomissing will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 17-3 record after their 49-45 league loss to Exeter Township (Reading, PA).
