In Thursday's non-league outing, the Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV) basketball squad beat the host Fisher Catholic Irish (Lancaster, OH), by a count of 59-41.

The Big Blacks (7-8) will now prepare for their outing against Marietta (Marietta, OH). The Tigers go into the Twin State outing with a 13-5 record. In their last outing, Marietta defeated Cambridge (Cambridge, OH), 69-62, in a non-league outing.

The Irish now hold a 5-13 record. They play next when they host Fairfield Christian Academy for a Mid-State - Cardinal challenge on Saturday, February 4.
