The Lapwai Wildcats basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Orofino Maniacs to 46 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 19-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Troy for a 1A White Pine contest on Friday, February 3. Lapwai will battle a Trojans team coming off a 58-24 non-league win over Nezperce (Nezperce, ID). The Trojans record now stands at 10-4.

The Maniacs (6-6) will now prepare for their bout against Genesee (Genesee, ID). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 1-17 record. In their last bout, Genesee was crushed by Prairie (Cottonwood, ID), 52-42, in a league bout.
