South Dakota High School Basketball - Warner edges Leola/Frederick
February 2, 2023: Leola, SD 57456 The Warner Monarchs (Warner, SD) basketball nipped the host Leola/Frederick Titans (Leola, SD), 51-47 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Monarchs (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Waverly/South Shore (Waverly, SD). The Coyotes go into the B Region 1 test with a 7-6 record.
The Titans now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Jones County for a non-league test on Saturday, February 4. Leola/Frederick will encounter a Coyotes squad coming off a 57-54 non-league loss to Sully Buttes (Onida, SD). The Coyotes record now stands at 7-8.
