Louisiana High School Basketball - Lutcher holds off St. Charles Catholic
February 2, 2023: Lutcher, LA 70071 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lutcher Bulldogs (Lutcher, LA) and the visiting St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA), saw Lutcher's basketball squad hold off St. Charles Catholic by a tally of 48-42.
With the victory, Lutcher improves its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to South Terrebonne (Bourg, LA) to confront the Gators in a 4A District 7 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Gators come into the challenge with a record of 1-9.
Next up, the Comets confront the Episcopal Knights (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. St. Charles Catholic will attempt to improve on its 16-5 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 11-12 record after their 90-88 non-league loss to Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA).
