Sharon Springs Central Spartans (Sharon Springs, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Milford Central Wildcats (Milford, NY), 63-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Sharon Springs Central upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Spartans host Worcester (Worcester, NY) to play the Wolverines in a Section 4 Tri-Valley bout on Monday, February 6. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 6-7.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Morris Central Mustangs (Morris, NY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Milford Central will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record.
