Missouri High School Basketball - Providence Academy knocked off by Sarcoxie
February 2, 2023: Sarcoxie, MO 64862 The Sarcoxie Bears basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Providence Academy Patriots to 40 in the Bears non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bears now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson Independent Day for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Sarcoxie will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 55-48 non-league loss to College Heights Christian (Joplin, MO). The Cavaliers record now stands at 14-5.
The Patriots (9-15) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Smith Patriots (Fort Smith, AR). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Fort Smith Patriots was defeated by Providence Academy (Rogers, AR), 78-35, in a non-league contest.
