February 2, 2023: Stanton, IA 51573 In Thursday's non-league outing, the Tri-Center Trojans (Neola, IA) basketball squad beat the host Stanton Vikings (Stanton, IA), by a count of 65-55.
The Trojans (12-7) will now prepare for their outing against Riverside (Oakland, IA). The Bulldogs go into the Western Iowa outing with a 3-14 record. In their last outing, Riverside was topped by Treynor (Treynor, IA), 61-48, in a league outing.
The Vikings now hold a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to Lenox for a non-league outing on Monday, February 6. Stanton will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 70-69 league loss to Nodaway Valley (Greenfield, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 10-8.
