February 2, 2023: Newton, NJ 07860 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Newton Braves (Newton, NJ) and the visiting Parsippany Redhawks (Parsippany, NJ), saw Newton's basketball squad overcome Parsippany by a tally of 40-30.
With the victory, Newton improves its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Mount Olive (Flanders, NJ) to confront the Marauders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Marauders come into the challenge with a record of 4-11. Mount Olive lost 54-21 in their recent non-league challenge against High Point (Sussex, NJ)
Next up, the Redhawks confront the Kittatinny Regional Cougars (Newton, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Parsippany will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 51-35 non-league win over Kinnelon (Kinnelon, NJ).
