The Notre Dame Catholic Lancers basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Stratford Red Devils to 39 in the Lancers league triumph on Thursday.

The Lancers now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bunnell for a non-league contest on Monday, February 6. Notre Dame Catholic will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 48-16 league loss to Bethel (Bethel, CT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-12.

The Red Devils (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Weston (Weston, CT). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Weston was nudged by Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT), 43-40, in a league contest.
